## 1. Name

The first time the name meets a reader who doesn't read Hangul, gloss it: *Soom (숨) is Korean for breath.* Without that line the name is just a sound.

## 2. The mark

One runner and two afterimages. The afterimages are **the you that already went past** — everything this app says is in that drawing.

- The afterimages are always on the **left**. Never mirror the mark; flipping the direction of travel flips the meaning.
- No rotation, skew, drop shadow, gradient or added outline.
- Two colourways only: **gold** on dark, **ink** on light.
- Overlapping strokes inside the mark are separated by a **background-coloured stroke**. That is why each file names its background: `-gold` is for the night background, `-ink` for paper. Over any other colour, use the `-on-night` / `-on-paper` files, which carry their own plate.

**Clear space**: at least 25% of the mark's height on all sides.
**Minimum size**: 24 px on screen, 8 mm in print. Below that the afterimages merge.

## 3. Lockup

Mark + `숨런` (Noto Sans KR 900) + `SOOMRUN` (Anton, .14em tracking, uppercase), stacked, 13 px between mark and type at a 48 px mark.
The mark may stand alone. The wordmark should not.

Gold **fails** on paper at 1.34:1. Use burnt amber wherever a light surface needs the accent.

All three are on Google Fonts. Always fall back to Noto Sans KR behind faces that carry no Hangul.

## 6. Voice

- One number at a time. A screen that says two things says neither.
- Always give the absolute values beside a comparison: not "12% faster" but "5'51" → 5'09", 12% faster".
- Never "rank", "leaderboard" or "1st". The opponent is always **yesterday's you**.

The files on this page may be used **to write about or introduce SoomRun**, unmodified.
They may not be used to brand another product or service, to imply sponsorship or partnership, or in altered form.
